Homemade Chocolate

It is so easy, and so much healthier than your chocolate you just buy at your grocery store. Plus the whole process, it’s been super fun and nice to do!

Homemade Chocolate
Prep time
Total time
  • Vanilla extract 1 tablespoon
  • Cocoa butter 125g
  • Cocoa powder 110g
  • 6 Tablespoons coconut blossom sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons almond milk
  • * Optional 2 tablespoons rice milk powder
  1. Fill a pan with water, and put it on your stove with the fire on. Now grab a fireproof bowl, place it in the pan with water, and put your cocoa butter in the fireproof bowl, do this until it eventually becomes entirely liquid. (So the au-bain marie melting method!)
  2. If it becomes liquid after a while grab your fireproof bowl with the liquid cocoa butter, and place it on a whire rack. (You can also melt it in the microwave if that's easier for you)
  3. Now put 1 tablespoon vanilla extract, 6 tablespoons coconut blossom sugar, and 110 grams of cocoa powder to your liquid cocoa butter and mix together well.
  4. If everything has become one solid mess you can pour it into an ice cube form. (Unless you really have a chocolate mold in the house, of course, you can use it.)
  5. Put it in the freezer and let them become solid. Enjoy!
Stir in grated coconut mixture, and you have coconut pralines.
Stir for example some hazelnuts through the mixture. (Or other nuts of your choice)
You like raisins? Then put some raisins through your chocolate mixture before you pour it into the chocolate molds.

Enjoy! – Emma
