Chocolate Bliss Balls

Everybody knows those little chocolate bliss balls, they are delicious as a snack or to serve with a party!

Chocolate Bliss Balls
Recipe type: Snacks
  • Coconut blossom sugar
  • Cocoa butter 125g
  • Cocoa powder 100 grams
  • Coconut oil
  • Vanilla extract
  • To decorate:
  • Coconut Grater
  • Chopped almonds
  1. Make sure you have your coconut oil at room temperature.
  2. Put a pan of water on the fire, and put a fireproof bowl over/in the water, and place in this fireproof bowl your cocoa butter so that it eventually becomes entirely liquid. (So the au-bain marie method!) If the cocoa butter becomes nice liquid, you can grab the bowl out of the water and put the fire out. Place the bowl with the liquid cocoa butter at your kitchen counter.
  3. Put the cocoa powder, 2 tablespoons coconut blossom sugar, 2 tablespoons liquid coconut oil and 1 tablespoon vanilla extract, put all this in the bowl with the liquid cocoa butter, and mix this until you have a smooth mixture.
  4. Make your hands wet, and grab every time a little bit from your mixture, and form small bliss balls from it.
  5. Pick up two dinner plates and sprinkle on one plate your coconut grater and on the other plate chopped almonds.
  6. If you have your chocolate balls roll them through the grated coconut or almonds.
  7. (It is of course just what you like)
  8. If you've done it with all the mixture, put them in the refrigerator so they can chill and form.
  9. Enjoy!
You also use other types of nuts as a garnish, think of hazelnuts, pistachios, etc.
You can also roll them through cinnamon or cocoa powder.
