My name is Emma, and I’m a 25-year old girl, and I’m married with the love of my life. I’m from the Netherlands but I do love to travel!
I have my degree in Orthomolecular Nutrition and Supplements, and I love helping people to make healthy choices, but still (very important) delicious choices.
Unfortunately, I have MS (Multiple Sclerosis), and Chronic Lyme Disease, so that is a huge part of my life, but I won’t let these diseases define me.
I’m in love with writing, fashion, traveling, health and making nice healthy recipes! Before this website I had a different website, it was called : www.bijzondersmakelijk.com , on that website I only posted recipes and reviews about products and restaurants.
I was getting sicker and sicker because of my illnesses, and couldn’t make so many recipes anymore since cooking is a thing I, unfortunately, can’t do it too often anymore because of the MS pain in my hands. On that website are only Gluten-, Lactose and Fructose free recipes since I also have a lot of food allergies.
I still wanted to do things that I love and had so much passion for, so I started to post also a lot of fashion things on my social media, and in that time I had a lot of nice opportunities on Instagram collaborating with lots of different brands, and I absolutely loved it! So I was thinking, why not making a new website with all the things I love! I could copy my old recipes to here, and also recipes that were still standing ready for that website, and from now on I could go also follow my other passions.
So that’s how lifestylebyemma.com was born.
And then the GREATEST thing ever happened! After spending years in so many different hospitals for “bad” stuff, we found out that I’m pregnant! We proved every doctor AND ourselves wrong, because I didn’t have a period for over 3,5 years, but miracles really do exist! So my website is also a mommy (to-be) -blog ;), it’s basically all the things I love! I hope you guys will enjoy it.
*We are expecting our little miracle in the beginning of June.
And more? Well, why don’t you ask!
For the Dutchies, jullie mogen natuurlijk gewoon altijd in het Nederlands blijven vragen!
Much love, Emma
